The Bahamas lift the travel ban for Haiti 

During his weekly press conference Clint Watson, the press secretary to the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, informed that the travel ban imposed on Haiti and Cuba Since February 15, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had been lifted. 

He also announced that the airline Bahamasair had resumed its flights to Haiti with two flights per week:One to Cap Haitien, which was yesterday, and the other to Port-au-Prince, which will be on Saturday.

Sanitary conditions required to enter or return to the Bahamas :

Before departure for the Bahamas, all unvaccinated passengers aged 12 and over must pass a Covid-19 RT-PCR test (swab)

(The name and address of the laboratory where the test was performed must be clearly displayed on the test result.)

All children between the ages of 2 and 11 must take a Covid-19 Rapid Antigen test but children under 2 are exempt from the test.

Once in possession of a negative result, passengers will need to apply for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa by visiting https://travel.gov.bs where the negative test result must be downloaded.
