Natcom denies increased in mobile plan price rumors

On the Natcom website, the prices of mobile plans remain the same. However, some customers who have recently tried to renew their mobile internet plan find that they need more money to do so. In return, they will receive more mobile data. Customers complain about it on social media. Contacted by the newspaper, the public relations manager of Natcom, Josué Pierre-Paul, denied the information relating to an increase in the prices of mobile plans. “Natcom only gives advantages by increasing the volume of mobile data,” he said.

Natcom’s public relations manager revealed that the company has not increased the prices of its services since 2020.

On the Crazy Data 100 plan, for example, Natcom used to grant 7 GB high speed for 7 days at a rate of 1 GB per day at the price of 100 gourdes without taking into account the sales tax (TCA). Now, the activation of this plan is possible at the rate of 120 gourdes without the TCA for a period of seven days. Natcom is increasing the amount of data: 8.4 GB.

In addition, Josué Pierre-Paul announced that Natcom did not suffer enormous damage during the earthquake of August 14, 2021, which devastated the departments of Sud, Grand’Anse and Nippes.
