Thanks to a funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Haitian Government, in order to pursue its policy of developing and securing air transport, has decided to undertake the Construction of a new Air Traffic Management (ATM) Complex in Haiti and a new control tower for Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince.

The toll of the powerful earthquake that devastated the southern departments of Haiti is increasing hour by the hour.
According to Civil Protection, the human toll of the earthquake rose at the end of the day of August 15 to 1,297 dead: 1,054 in the South, 119 in Grand 'Anse, 122 in Nippes and 2 in the North-West . More than 5,700 injured are recorded in the departments of Sud, Nippes and Grand ‘Anse.
