Reconstruction of South Haiti is estimated at a $1.12 billion cost

Reconstruction of damages in the South of Haiti after the earthquake of the 14th of August will cost $1.12 billion according to the first assessment on the matter according to Prime Minister Ariel Henry who chaired a preliminary meeting of the technical steering committee, as part of the first satellite impact assessment of damages, losses and post-earthquake needs 2021, in the Southern Peninsula on Monday August 23rd.

As of now, we have Stéphanie Zidebell, the representative of the UNDP also known as the    United Nations Development Programme who  confirmed the contribution of her organization in the process of reconstruction of the southern peninsula.
