Haiti-insecurity: A former head of the DCPJ shot dead at Vivy Mitchell
Pétion-Ville, Sunday 1st December 2019. (WWW.ZONE509.COM) – The former head of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), Michael Lucius, has just been shot dead tonight by individuals unidentified armed. Michaël Lisius would have received no fewer than nine projectiles as he was preparing to return home, in the town of Pétion-Ville.
The victim had just returned to Haiti after stays in foreign land. Michaël Lucius, former head of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), reportedly received at least 9 projectiles and died on the field. He was attacked by armed individuals at the bridge between Vivy Mitchell and Belvil, commune Petri-Ville, at the time when he was preparing to return home.Michael Lucius was appointed head of the DCPJ in June 2005, replacing Jessie Cameau Coicou.The information was confirmed in the drafting of the Newspaper by a knowledgeable police source.Until now, 8:30 pm, his corpse is still on the floor. National police officers are on the scene waiting for the arrival of a justice of the peace for the legal report.
