In a note published Sunday and signed by Minister Jean Roudy Aly, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) strongly denounces and condemns the murder of Police Inspector Michael Lisius, former Central Director of the Judicial Police .
The MJSP also took the opportunity in this note to denounce the attacks perpetrated against police officers in Arcahaie while they were trying to remove barricades on the national road # 1 as well as the attack perpetrated in the municipality of Gressier at height Mariani Saturday, November 30 in the evening when, noted the note of the MJSP, young people met peacefully. An attack, according to figures from the Ministry of Justice, resulted in 3 deaths and two injuries.
“The Ministry will do everything through the prosecutor’s office near the Court of First Instance of Port au Prince so that the guilty and their accomplices are identified and dragged by the courts … The offenders will be tracked relentlessly” can we read in Note.
The MJSP presented his sympathies to the Haitian National Police following the assassination of Inspector Michael Lisius on Sunday night as he was returning home to Vivy Mitchell in Pétion Ville.
